Ok - here I will post all the pertinent information... in a place it won't disappear xD
First, you must download the client at www.goteamspeak.com. Download the first available client on the list (NOT the enhanced executable one). Install the client.
Once it is opened, choose Connection and then Connect.
Click on the Web Server List.
It will say something about you have not set filters yet.
Choose Change Filter. Click on Clan servers only, and in the name field Choose servers containing "AOoS" Then choose OK.
Then you have to update the list.
The server should show up on the list. <AOoS .......and an ip address>.
Click on it.
Click the button labeled Copy to Local Address Book with the server highlighted.
Click the tab Local Address Book. Click on AOoS. A screen will show to the right.
Put your name in the nickname space (so we know who we are talking to!). Check the box "Allow server to assign nickname"
Password is aoosrox.
Check the auto reconnect box.
Click the connect button.
And, you are in xD
Still have work to do to find all the functionality, but works so far.
There are ways to set it up so you have to hold a button to talk but you can do handsfree for hunts.
Hope to hear you all soon :*
My ip address is dynamic. If you find you cannot log onto the server do the following:
Go to the tab called web server list. On the bottom will be a tab with update list. Choose update list, and the ip address will update. The last four numbers needed to be added to the ip will ALWAYS be :8767 which is the port that needs to be allowed in your firewall to run Teamspeak.
That should cover everything! If you can't get the ip to update, msg me (or Barb - she can usually find it out ) and we will get it to you!
